I take this opportunity to express my happiness at the progress made by the Punjab Ayurved Medical College & Hospital Morjandkhari, Sriganganagar within such a short period. It has become so popular that parents and students are trying hard to get enrolled in this Institution. This has been made possible only due to the devotion & hard work of the team we have. Being an Ayurvedic College, staff is always ready to provide quality education to the students and to uplift the traditional concept of medicines i.e. Ayurveda.

We believe in Ayurveda, which is growing influence of our ancient system of science system day by day. W.H.O. has out rightly testified that Ayurveda theory is an outstanding alternate medicine today as compared to any other system. Ayurveda has a deep history, well documented in our scriptures and it is realized what was good and useful to the humanity. If we look back some years ago our ancestors practiced health care principles as a natural part of life and lived healthier than the most of us today.

The ancient science Ayurveda’s influence and its popularity is increasing globally day by day. People are realizing its useful coherence with nature. Its theory believes prevention is better than cure “Swasthsya Swasthya Rakshanam”. Ayurveda the science of life helps to live better healthy to live healthy life.

Keeping this in view Punjab Ayurved Medical College & Hospital Morjandkhari, Sriganganagar has taken the task to help mankind by promoting the principles of Ayurveda. The objects of the society are to promotea the Ayurveda systems of medicine, to provide skilled manpower to work in the field of Ayurveda.

Punjab Medical Technical & General Educational Society, Patiala was founded in the Year 1998 with the view to serve the community in the field of education & particularly medical education i.e. too in ayurveda by its Founder President worthy Dr. S.L. Arora, M.D.(Ayu.) . In the year 2000 the society started a college in paramedical sciences at Patiala but the inspiration was beyond this venture. In the year 2003 the management decided to establish an Ayurved Medical College and therefore aspired to start OPDs in Sri Ganganagar in the year 2004. The dream for admissions to BAMS course came true in the year 2008 when The Ministry of Health & family welfare, Department of AYUSH (GOI) granted us permission to start BAMS course with an intake capacity of 60 students and Dr. S.R. Rajasthan Ayurved University Jodhpur affiliated our college on the permission of the Government of Rajasthan. The college meets all the legitimate requirements as per the norms laid down by the NCISM, New Delhi and shall follow all the norms, guidelines and curriculum prescribed by NCISM. This was the result of the hard work put in by our respected Dr. S.L. Arora Founder president jointly with the members of the society under his guidance.
